Day 2  SEOUL  (B)
Full day Seoul city tour (Gyeongbok Palace built in 1394 as a primary residence for the royal
family, Nat'l Folk Museum which explains the religious rituals, housing customs, household tools,
housing implements, food, and social dynamics of traditional Korean life, Jogyesa Temple, the
headquarters of the Jogyejong Sect, Korean Folk Village, a living museum that recreates the
lifestyle of several centuries ago)
Day 3  SEOUL / GANGWHA ISLAND  (B)
Transfer to Gangwha Island, the fifth largest island in Korea. Visit Mt.Mani, well-known as the site
where Dan Gun, the legendary founder of the first Korean kingdom, descended to earth 5,000 years
ago, History Museum and Bomunsa Temple.
Afternoon meditation at Zen Mission Temple.
Accommodation at Gangwha Zen Mission Temple.
Day 4  GANGWHA ISLAND  (B)
Visit Jeondeungsa Temple built about 1,600 years ago.
Afternoon special lecture on Korean Buddhism by monk.
Accommodation at Gangwha Zen Mission Temple.
Day 5  GANGWHA ISLAND / MT. SONGNI NAT'L PARK  (B)
Transfer to Mt. Songni Nat'l Park. Tour of Beobjusa Temple established in 553A.D. and that
displays many famous artworks, including the oldest wooden building in Korea, a stone lantern
which is a National Treasure, and a famous 108-foot-high bronze statue of Buddha.

Day 6  MT. SONGNI NAT'L PARK / MT. JIRI NAT'L PARK  (B)
Leave for Mt. Jiri Nat'l Park. Tour of Hwaeomsa Temple founded in 544 A.D. and famous for its
main building constructed without the use of nails.
Accommodation at Jirisan Plaza Hotel.
Day 7  MT. JIRI NAT'L PARK / BOSEONG  (B)
Transfer to Boseong. Visit Korean green tea cultivating field. If possible, experience picking green
tea leaves.
Visit Seonamsa Temple and Unjusa Temple.
Accommodation at Boseong.
Day 8  BOSEONG / GYEONGJU  (B)
Leave for Gyeongju, an ancient capital city called " a museum without walls".

Day 9  GYEONGJU  (B)
Full day tour of Gyeongju (Seokguram Grotto designated as UNESCO World Heritage, Bulguksa
Temple
, a monument to both the skill of the Silla architects and the depth of Buddhist faith at the
time, Tumuli Park, a collection of royal Silla tombs, Silla Kiln where clay pot making
demonstration is given by specialist and visitors can experience making their own clay pot.)
Day 10  GYEONGJU / MT. GAYA NAT'L PARK / SEOUL  (B)
Visit Haeinsa Temple known as the repository of the Tripitaka Koreana, a set of 80,000 wooden
printing blocks engraved with one of the most comprehensive compilations of the Buddhist
scriptures in all of Asia.
Return to Seoul. Check in hotel.
Day 11  SEOUL  (B)
Half day tour of Seoul (Insadong Antique Alley, Changdeok Palace built in 1405 as an
auxiliary palace to Gyeongbok Palace, Secret Garden, a rear garden of palace that
shows the distinctive natural beauty of Korean garden)
Afternoon free shopping at Namdaemun Market & Itaewon.
Day 12  DEPARTURE  (B)
Transfer to airport & departure for the next destination.
